Such a treat to read a poem from you tonight!
I have to agree with you. Human touch, presence, interaction with someone WITH you has been replaced with artificial "almost contact". It's not the same. And of course with Covid, it's what people are left with.
I am missing in-person time and connections, which hold such personal meaning and significance in an otherwise cold, impersonal world.
Great writing, as usual. So nice to hear some of your written thoughts! Stay safe and well! Hugs from Canada (as we watch the election craziness from across the closed border.... yikes!)
Thanks for sharing this with me! ... Nadine

This describes this sad state completely. I love that you put the Einstein quote in your notes. Before we were required to stay 6 feet away; we were already lost in a world of technology. I saw your note about the layout. The lines that begin with "All knowledge" and "When life" are on the same line, strung together.

Thank you for reviewing. I am a bit frustrated with some of the glitches going on. You can?t use an apostrophe or quotations or some craziness takes over.
Ain?t right

Congratulations on this insightful poem. So many aspects of this modern era don't appeal to me; including the unhealthy reliance of people on technology. Oh well; there's nothing much you and I can do about it other then endure!

I appreciate this beautiful sixer!
I feel it?s not too
late to be intentional about relationships.

I'm with you! (No cell/no Facebook--though I confess to spending much time here in StoryLand.) Poignant, yet whimsical and wry (fix the junk text that got interspersed in derriere--probably due to accent mark conversion)

This is a good write and perfect for the times. We are so tied to our devices that it seems that we have less and less time for real connections with each other. Nicely written.
