I thought this was such fun. I love the creature, whatever he is, he is great! The photo is very sweet and I think your words suit the picture.

We should all have such a big green friend who will be there through he good and the bad. I like this story, because is shows that everything that looks bad, does not always translate to evil. I like this photo. It's the picture of love. Great job!

A very beautiful and chanting poem for children. Especially if you are chewing bubblegum when you are reading this poem and acting and the big green monster was really just a wee bit of a scaredy-cat. You managed to temper the poem just well enough to make it just perfect for a child. The tempo and rhythm makes it very easy for the child to understand let alone being very easy to read. Thank you for sharing this adewpearl with all of us. You have a good one and God bless.

What a delightful tale.
A gentle giant indeed.
Perfect rhymed couplets which flow well to present a tale destined to delight children.
Isn't it always the way that the biggest physically tends to be the weakest emotionally.

Have to give you a six for this, the poem is great, but I have to say Sawyer is becoming quite the model... He is gorgeous. The poem was funny, fast-paced, great rhythm all the way through. You are amazingly talented. :) Sandra

This is a real tickler Brooke! I'll bet Sesame Street would buy this! Their probably ready for a new kid on the block, and This guy is just what Ernie was wishing for! Oscar would love him too - until he found out how shy the guy is...

So now you are channelling Maurice Sendak. Does your wit for children's lit ever end? ( I hope not). Couldn't help but think of Sawyer as a calmer, gentler Max and the creature a gum-chewing denizen from Where The Wild Things Are. Does Sawyer' s name have anything to do with Twain?
