Whoa! I didn't see a long deceased twin brother coming! Imagine the mixed feelings Bill had to have experienced when he learned the two of you were expecting twins...and then more worry when Angel struggled toward health! This has been a top notch novel from the beginning and I almost don't want JUST one more chapter...I've come to embrace the tale in my heart! Kudos and six stars once again!---Karenina

It's wonderful to read this chapter. Things do get better. And the character is able to stay home and be a daddy. As you may know by now, you have to love your characters when you write a story. Fantastic book.

I do enjoy the musical accompaniments at the end, it helps add layers to the work. Though I'm joining in late on this book, it seems to have a strong connecting theme and is well penned. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. Later daze.

It is difficult to come in the middle of a story or even later. For we do not have any of the history to help gauge things on. However, I would say the real issue that I had with this selection is a lack of grounding. In Bill we have this wonderful dialogue but I have no idea where we are or why. I we are in the home of his grandparents I would really want to see that and to feel it.
After the story of Bobby, we get to see Billy and Cathy together, yet we still do not get grounded in a setting. The only mention we get is birds chirping and squirrels scampering. No real concrete idea of where they were.
There is so much that I good here, I just find it difficult to be hanging in space without my feet on the ground.

Tootie, I understand completely, I think I said it is difficult coming in the middle or later -- In this case much later in the novel. I was merely commenting on what I read, that scene, I didn't feel grounded. It had no reflection on the characters or the rest of the novel I had not read.
