Most people never fully appreciate relationships, family, the Church, schools, jobs, home life, peace, quiet, friends, travel, etc until they suffer trials and tribulations. Suddenly eyes open.

These are comforting words. I do think we gain an appreciation of life and family and everything we hold dear after we have endured any kind of a trial are really going though a trial by fire a the moments. Very good entry for the contest.

Pearls are indeed beautiful and I have had several necklaces and earrings to wear in the past, Maggie Thatcher used to wear pearls and of course the Queen loves them, a joy to read, love Dolly x

Hopefully, after this terrible trial is behind us, people will truly appreciate each other and what they have. Is is too much to ask soldier to put down their weapons and nations to seek peaceful solutions to their differences?
