This tells of the life and death of a loving person who has had most of her friends die before her, it seems. It also shows that we can feel those love ones that have died and know they help us through life without them.

Hi Joan, sorry this reply is so late, I've been away for nearly two weeks. Thank you so much for reading the last part of this book. I'm already working on the last one in the trilogy. I'm delighted you enjoyed this part. Thank you! Big hugs, Sandra xxx

This is excellent, Sandra. Such a touching chapter. Described well. Story flows easily from one line to the next. I like how you have mentioned "I could see plainly it was Mildred ... but she was much younger. Once again she was the Mildred I knew when she was about thirty years of age." This comment is appropriate for spirit as all accounts agree with it. Much luck in the contest. Marilyn

Oh,, thank you, Marilyn! I've been off the site for a few days. My brother has been in intensive care, so I didn't know I'd been nominated. What a lovely review, and to give me one of your precious 6 when it's no longer paying out, is so nice of you. I've been reading up on spirits, and they do say that. I'm hoping to be about thirty-five, that was my best year! LOL. I'll be starting my last book in the trilogy, soon, already got the plot all worked out. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

LOL!!!! I'm over the moon you're happy now! lol. Mildred is now able to feature more in the story as she can come along with Veronica. It should prove to be funny and sad as she does tend to let her emotions run riot. I think that's what most readers like about her. I can't thank you enough for your amazing support of my novel, Rebecca, you have been wonderful. Thank you for yet another 6 stars! What can I say, 3 of your allocation of sixes on my book, my face is just hurting with the size of my smiles. Biggest ever hugs, my friend. Hope to see you next time. Sandra xxxxx

What a lovely finish-up or is it? I feel more adventures are on hand and I hope I'm right! Your "for now" is the perfect tease.
I'm happy to be back reading your stories.

My throat twisted. I couldn't breathe as invisible hands squeezed my neck, wringing it like an old dishcloth, filling my head with unbearable pain ... but I didn't care--it was better than the anguish that was ripping my heart apart.
I love your imagery
Well penned. It's hard jumping into a story midstream but this is great writing. Congrats on your book
God bless

Two sixes from me in one week! I must be going soft.
Seriously, this is excellent and I found nothing to correct or suggest. I especially love how you ended on a happy note and set a hook for the next adventure. Good luck on the book, it deserves to do well.
Keep writing!

Hello Sandra,
First, congratulations on finishing this wonderful novel in your series. Ten Stars!
Now for the sad part, Mildred is no longer with us, that is, among the living.
It's not the same, being a spirit. No, it's just not the same.
But, better a spirit than a corpse! lol
Of course, you realize you've now endowed the POWERS with far more power than before.
Time travel is one thing, but power over life and death and the after- life makes them like gods. Hmmm...
Still, this should make for interesting, fun reading in the next novel.
It will be like meeting the Mildred of the first novel, but as an "angel or emissary" of the POWERS. Of course, Mildred says "I aint no ghost." So I don't know exactly what she is, other than a great, fun character. Reminds me of the It's a Wonderful Life and The Bishops Wife, among others.
Let the future begin...
Wish I had a six left, maybe the Powers can send me one.
Robert

The thing I love most about fiction, I can do what I want within reason. The powers that be are just there to allow me to do it. Apart from that, they wouldn't dare argue with Mildred! lol. Of course, we don't know, (I certainly don't) if Mildred and the powers are from another planet! Hmm. Little green men in the next one? 'Oh, Lordy, Master Robert, not on your nelly!' lol.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful reviews you have given me throughout my two books, Robert. You have been a fabulous friend and so encouraging in your comments. I'll get this one up and running and then start the next book. Big hugs! Sandra xxxx
