How exciting for Francis to meet Jacob. I'm eager to see what he's like.
Francis was so fortunate that Joe and Rosie came along. What wonderful people!

Thank you so much for another 6 stars, my wonderful friend. You will discover why Francis was so important that he had to be saved from Sir John, in the next part. More big hugs coming your way!! :) Sandra xxxx

Hello, :)
I haven't read this in so long; I truly missed it. I was turned down for a seal and was a bit depressed with all the time I put into Flower, but the committee was right. I'm back to edit and re-edit.
I don't see any errors. I can't wait for the next.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Flower is a truly wonderful story. But, when they turn you down for a seal, they do give you a good reason. I had a seal for my Hedgerow Capers, book for children, and it was taken up with a publisher. The second book in the series they the committee turned me down and gave me an excellent review on what they thought needed improving. I took their advice and got the next taken. So, although I haven't gone for another seal, they are worth it if you want to get a publisher. I am sure you will, because the series is superb and a wonderful way to teach children. So, buck up and sort it out and get a publisher!!! Thanks for reading mine, by the way! LOL. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

TY, :) Congrats! :P

Good vernacular. Interesting dialogue and good story progression add another dimension to this well crafted tale. Seems more interest is in "Jacob" which could lead to more conflict with "Joe".

Another excellent chapter, Sandra. I'm glad the powers that be let Veronica see the result of her efforts, although I'm a bit concerned about Jowell's remark concerning Mildred. Yikes, you'll have a lynch mob after you if anything happens to her!
I can't wait to read on.

I've always been a fan of time travel in general, however imaginary or not, but it fun to think about, and you make it more fun than ever. Thanks for sharing another fun and entertaining chapter. :-)

"Your eyes traveled past him...' I really like that as an ending. Hello Sandra, such good writing in this chapter of your book, 'This time - That time'. You are very good at descriptions: '... sun sending rays onto some of the leaves making them sparkle.'
I also find your dialogue so interesting with the accents clearly audible. And you salt your descriptions throughout, little bits at a time. It adds so much as you see the characters unfold slowly, rather than being told about them in a big chunk. Your plot is coming along and I saw nothing to change.
Thanks Sandra, have a great day, Ana.

Great chapter Sandra. It's nice to hear how their lives have turned out. It doesn't sound as if any of them are missing Sir John!
One small correction:
I turned my attention back to the young man in front of me, no longer the lad of ten, and wondered how many years had past (passed) since I last saw him.

Hi Sandra, wow, this is a wonderful chapter. So Veronica has yet again been sent back in time, but this time to Bristol to see how Joe and his family have been doing, and also to see Francis and how he has developed. It's wonderful that we get know how everything has panned out. I'm worried about Mildred though. Hugs from a cool Cape Cod. I'm having a wonderful time with my family. Ulla xxxx

I'm so pleased you are having a lovely time with your family. It's a heat wave here, so perhaps we are having it better that you in Cape Cod! Enjoy yourself! Big hugs my friend. :) Sandra xxxxx
