This thirty-syllable poem, April, has the wording right and uses assonance rhyming to bring about the indications that spring has final decided to make an appearance. Let's hope it stays.

This is an excellent poem and entry for the contest
with the required thirty syllables and excellent imagery
of the various critters of spring
One suggestion :
[April breathes a gentle breeze] gives a better rhyme of breeze/bees
Excellent art work to match

I think you need the "a" in there for the thirty syllables.
