I hope that by now the pain is gone.
You certainly are a courageous person to share your feelings with others on this matter in a creative and soul-touching manner. This is a very heartwrenching poem. I suffer depression so I understand pain. I know what it's like to feel that no one understands how something feels, that since they're reaction is different than mine, it means they cannot truly comprehend how it feels to me. I suspect your own pain has made you feel the same sometimes.
