I like this story because it leaves the ending open to several possibilities. Sadness if he doesn't show, happiness if he does. However, it could turn into a horror story if his strong grip on her during the dancing turns into something more sinister and controlling. Excellent work with only 100 words!

I really liked this, Ulla. It makes me think of a first dance...a first love. So naive and sweet. I can see the young girl standing there all shy and the handsome young man coming to ask for a dance.

Anyway I love your flash love story that transported me back in time to that age of innocence when flowers dictate our future.
