A ghost playing a skeleton. Very nice picture, the bones can be a musical instrument. I guess you could get a hollow bone and make a flute too. Nice.

I enjoy the way you poets are having fun with Halloween. It is such a fun holiday. I am not sure it's a true holiday, but anyway, I enjoyed reading your poem.

Very original. The enjambment works well as you write about music played on the ribs of a skeleton. Your ghost is very talented. Superb! Good luck with the contest. Les

Hi Debbie,
I'm just wondering, is the ghost trying to 'tune' up the skeleton to go out with him to a Halloween party? mmmm just a thought! Can't get more eerie than that! Can you?
Great entry Debbie, all the best in the contest.
Kindest thoughts,
James xx

My gratitude to you Debbie for sharing this wonderful written piece with fans, myself and other writers/readers. I enjoyed this short piece very much. It was very precise in its context in concept and well thought out imagery which is very much intended to intrigue one's mind during this season. Especially the image of the skeletons ribs being played and/or strummed by a ghost. You have a good one and God bless.
