This something beautiful and mysterious about waterfalls. I enjoyed reading your poem. It flowed well and the rhyming scheme is very good. Good job.

Hi Debbie-do
I was impressed with your enjambment between your last two stanzas:
And my soul will forever fill/Full of love for all and sharing
There is nice alliteration there too(forever fill full)
Fine rhyming quatrains with even tempo.

This waterfall poem reveals great insight...
Water traveling over falls and rocky rapids is cleansed and refreshed with oxygen...purified.
Our minds and souls must be rushed through rough places to slough off some inner impurity.
"When you next hear a waterfall
You will make sense of this all"
Fine conclusion!

Hi Debbie,
Such a beautiful poem. Even though waterfalls are very noisy, they give us a sense of calm and peace. Good job!

A waterfall is a most magnificent scene to be fortunate enough to visit on and marvel at its magnificence. A lovely poem well written I enjoyed it.
Gone are the worries of today
Tomorrow's not yet on the way
'Tis the time to listen and be still
And my soul will forever fill
Full of love for all and sharing
With understanding and caring
When you next hear a waterfall
You will make sense of this all
Well done. Mary

You have certainly hit a soft spot with me. Waterfalls and rainbows are my favorites. You did a wonderful job writing this one. I could hear the tinkling of the water as it rippled over the rocks and fell to the little river below. It has a way of 'refreshing the mind'. Ridding of self doubt and letting creativity come out. Nicely done, Carolyn
