Chi Chi Chi Le Le Le!
Isn't it amazing that all 33 men and their rescuers survived?
Your poem is moving and touches on the emotions that many of them experienced while being buried so far from life, light and their loved ones.
A great tribute.
Well done.
Nice presentation. Great flow.
A poignant tribute to many brave men.
No suggestions.

The eyes of the world were on Chile and praying that the miners would all get out safely. Your poem expresses the feeling that we all had and is said very well. Thank you for sharing your poem with us. Very well done.

I appreciate your ode to the trapped miners.
I especially liked your ending:I hope this story has a happy ending
in case it dosen't my love I'm sending
if I ever escape this plight
I promise to do what I know is right
And the wonder is, they were saved ... a great real life ending to your verse.

I was so concerned about those men. I am so glad that it turned out well. This is a great poem it expresses the sentiment many felt while the world waited to see if the rescue effort would be sucessful.

What an apt title to give to this well written
poem about the mining disaster and its successful
conclusion. We are all inspired by the events that
took place.
I found these two lines my favorite:
two weeks ago my wife gave birth
the endless night gave way to mirth
The end rhymes are solid and strong, thus adding to
the quality of the read. Good luck with the contest!
