Now here's something I've not seen before, a story that relies on the picture to make sense! Poor girl to have felt like she'd won a moral victory - only to face complete humiliation!
I do hope it wasn't based on personal experience! ;-)

Lol, well, there was certainly a double meaning to revealed. No, it wasn't personal experience, lol. Thanks for the review. - Thesis

There was a nice double meaning in the last line. First of all, she revealed her affair and then there is the illustration. Fun story!

A modern-day story reflecting today's lifestyle.
Do you think the co-workers had a clue and were
tipped off by her "red" shoes? (lol) Well, at
least her panties covered a bit more than the
fashionable ones of the day.
Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for the fun review. I'm glad you enjoyed my humor. By today's standards, she was very modestly dressed. - Thesis

You have to watch those intercoms. This is a cute story. The picture you used to illustrate is certainly revealing, just in a different way. Your story has good dialogue. Good luck in the contest.

This is funny. How appropriate to. Your ending was also precious, I am still grinning. Your words "unaware of how much was revealed," with it's double meaning was a great ending. -Judy

You did a great job working up to the photo and a closing line that has at least three meanings or is relevant in three ways (maybe more?) Nice work, and good luck.

This is awesome. Great art with this story with the double meaning! Very short and to the point...I think you covered the 100-yard dash requirements very well. I enjoyed reading this. Very clever.

Your complementary illustration gives a great double meaning to the ending - nice word play when combined with the picture. You have all the elements of a good story - characters, dialogue, conflict, resolution - all in 100 words. Good luck in the contest. Brooke :-)

Thank you, Brooke. I had this picture for awhile. I was just waiting for the right short piece to come along.

Revealing indeed! Your entry almost got my vote, but it was edged by "A Light Switch." Thank you for a great 100-word dash.
