God saved me from death many times. Now that I have found His Salvation, I would like to save others from death. I can't do much, but I can honor Him in writing. Thnk you for another excellent work.

Roy,
This is such a beautiful poem. Jesus put up with so much and he still loved everyone. He bears out sin to this day. God loved his son but still sent Jesus to the cross for our sins.
Well done my friend.

Regardless of the season, we all should stop and take a moment to reflect on our lives and pray that we are in good standings in the eyes of our Lord. We never know when our time to pass will come and accepting his blessings will prepare us for His light.
Smiles, Carol

Roy, there's a line here that makes no sense (to me) even though I've read it 5 times:
"I'm just a face that mock that the Lord, yes, I support the throng."
Jesus chose to suffer for us and some will cry out for his saving grace. Many will not.
I've enjoyed your poetry all year long, Roy. Many mornings, your words, reflecting scripture, have served as a lesson for me. Or a bit of hope going forward. Thank you for that, and I look forward to reading more in 2025.
Happy Christmas.

You've put a personal touch on the crucifixion of Jesus in this poem. Note: Line 7 has an extra 'that' -- 'I'm just a face that (mocks the Lord). Also, 'He (sang) redemption's song.' I like the picture of forgiveness you've painted in this poem. Blessings. Carol

A life to live, a path to follow. A cross to bear, we face death daily, not knowing when is the day. Rejoice Jesus will be back again and again. My words. My poem.
The Spirit Inside
The sky is your father,
The earth is your mother,
Share the mystery of giving,
The Father and Son to listen and learn,
The Spirit tells you.

I have been at the death bed side of many friends and each one of them were devoted to God. I would be heart broken to see a friend reject God at deaths door. Well written Roy.

Another poem expresses your Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian. I liked the first stanza the best as it sums up nicely the theme of the poem.

Couldn't give this any less than six. The message is clear. Forgiveness is out there. We simply must seek it. I'm not sure this is possible, but your writing seems to get better and better. After reading your poetry, I start to reflect. You really do make me think and I appreciate that.
