What a wonderful poem. I love the way it rhymes and tells a story at the same time. You have such an imagination. I really enjoyed this poem. Keep them coming.

Your grandma never "heard" a soul, or should it be "hurt"?

It seems none of this was real, but an imagined scenario of someone who doesn't care to be at a cemetery in the first place, and the hallucinations are made more real by the fact that it's Halloween. And Grandma is booing the performance?

LOL, I love your rhymes, but I'm making up my own story with this one, Pam.

Have a great Sunday - and an even better Halloween!

A wonderful Halloween poem. I really enjoyed the rhythm and rhyme in this narrative. You even threw a little action and mystique in there. Well done on an entertaining read.

This is steeply emotive poem, it would qualify as a blues song, chords wouold be be easy to put this to, a create an epic. I love this great post, you've turned up the notches on this Pam, well done, blessings Roy

Hi, Pam

I read your weird excursion to your Granny's grave site and had to chuckle about my own grave experiences that had many weird aspects too. But no strange skeleton or man with a gun appeared, just my irate call to funeral home office AGAIN that my mother's death date plaque had never been ordered and attached appropriately to her grave. It's only been 30 years! I told them the original had obviously been chinked off by a clumsy mower. They insisted it had been stolen... how did they reach that conclusion? They reached it because being stolen the funeral home didn't have to pay for a replacement, the relatives did. We have gone round and round for 30 years. So there my mother's grave stone still states she did not die she just transposed as a ghost. so she's an even 106 this year. I know my grave experience is far different from yours but your cute Halloween poem got me thinking... thanks for sharing your tale.

Take care,
Senyai

So good. In Australia we don't celebrate Halloween and to me, that's a shame. This is a very neatly written poem with both nice rhyme and meter. And, it pays well too. Thank you.
