You write in your author's notes that "It is a simple statement ..." Yet, it says everything we need to understand about your faith and relationship with God.

Great presentation, Robert. I hope that you do well in the contest.

Simple but succinct, and that is the best commodity especially when expressing love for G-d. This way, it remains basic and understandable - not messy or convoluted. It really is allll about trust, no matter how many additional permutations one might affix. Nicely done. I hope it serves you well in the contest (I bet you like what I did there, Robert, didn't you...)

Oh yes, I like what you did there. I pay attention to your words and subtle expressions. Faith is not complicated, and I have kept this poem in my head for quite a while. I play it a lot. Most people like to make things complicated, I don't. Thank you very much for your insights. I'm glad to read your comments on this one.

I enjoyed your artwork choice. This is simply stated, but faith shouldn't be complicated. Excellent use of rhyme. Yes, faith is what can save a soul. It could save the soul of a nation, but unfortunately the country is drifting away from that. Good luck in the contest. judi

Our nation doesn't appear to be interest in having its soul saved. Thank you for your positive comments and good wishes.

Unfortunately, we are seeing the consequences. I find it so troubling that some college students are glorifying the Hamas leaders and protesting against Israel. They are making it difficult for Jewish students. That's just one of my concerns. judi

Simple and short, yet your words convey powerfully. Faith is what sustains us, holds us, motivates us, moves us, changes us and brings us hope. His promises are manifested as we continue to walk in our faith. As others witness these promises manifested by the faith held in each of us, that He is faithful, is how we overcome. This poem gave an account as to why you believe in the faith and promises of God in such few words, which is all that is needed! Thank you for sharing!

I agree with your short and sweet approach. Whilst I do not mind longer faith poems I finds that many just "waffle on" because they have to. Not sure that your style will win the contest but you never know. Well done and take care.

Thank you, Barry. I wrote this months ago as a daily reminder of my spiritual condition. I repeat it often.
