A wonderful offering for the contest here, Jose -- a mixture of broken hearts and searching love with the faith that all will be healed... well done! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;) Yvette

I like how the lives seemingly come alive, "a loving whisper in the wind."
You've used the wind and the leaves rustling to indicate His voice in the first stanza, but in the second you say "a voice in the wind speaks." That works, but what if you made His voice somehow part of the natural world, like you did in the first stanza? Just a thought.
In the third stanza, I would capitalize "you" since you are speaking of God; lower case on Fool's, as it's not a proper noun.
I love the rhyming and the passion of this poem, Jose. I hope that you do well in the contest. Keep writing!

Wonderful poem of faith. We know that God always welcomes all the prodigals and He always stays near even when we wander. Let's stay safe under His wings like in psalm 91. Best wishes in the contest!

This was such a pleasant read with a lot of heart. It will not profit to gain the whole world and lose your soul. I cry that my sin is forever before me as my heart ask for forgiveness is my covering. We all must remember that where your heart is there your treasure is also. Be Blessed and thank you for sharing.

This poem explores spiritual awakening and choice, where the allure of worldly pleasures is weighed against the soul's yearning for redemption and divine connection. It captures the internal conflict and ultimate decision with a poignant clarity, making it a profoundly resonant piece for anyone contemplating life's greater purpose.
