What a lovely memory. You youngest is gay so no big wedding. My eldest got married in a small ceremony when he was told he was going to Korea to be a chicken inspector. I couldn't come that quickly. Neither one gave me grandkids which I told them was selfish. Anyhoo, this was very nice. Karen

What a precious memory indeed and it's because of the love you invested in your beautiful granddaughter so early in her life. I can see her resemblance to you. I wonder about your wedding picture now. My grandmother raised me until I was six and our bond was so deep! Thanks for sharing this!

What a very precious story this is, we have four beautiful grandsons, and only one granddaughter and she lived with us for a number of years, as did our son in law and daughter until they purchased their now home, I remember those precious days, we adore this child of heaven, she's only 13 now, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy
