I'm envious that you have such a lovely new born daughter. Yes. They are so cute and cuddly that you feel they are a part of your body. I miss that feeling and I will become a grandmother one day to enjoy that all over again.

The sad thing I never got to experience that with my daughter but I'm blessed to have two healthy boys and a bunch of furbabies.

It has been a long time since a poem has affected me like this. The transition from the excitement of feeling that kick from inside to your sweet angel being born sleeping is perfect imagery in a very sad and heartbreaking way. I am so sorry. I know that does absolutely nothing to ease the heartache but it's meant in all sincerity and with my whole heart. I also believe that they don't leave us. They are just in different forms and atmospheres if that makes sense.
