I absolutely loved your poem! The way you capture fall with and its beauty is so wonderful. The description of the leaves as a "million-piece jigsaw puzzle" is perfect! Your portrayal of the season's arrival is beautifully detailed. Fantastic work!

Thank you so much for the kind review.

I love Autumn for its vivid colours but also its many tastes.

I'm surrounded by woods full of chestnuts and a pine forest with mushrooms.

I thought it would be nice to showcase another face of Autumn.

    Keep safe!

Very pretty and clever poem that follows the restrictive conditions to a T.

I have a small query about the truffles section as to whether it really aligns with the key lines 'Fall makes its fiery debut.' Great line by the way. I know fall is when truffles are harvested, so perhaps close enough.

Excellent rhyming especially the puzzle/guzzle/muzzle trio.

Good luck.

Though you can find them all year round, the sagra of the tartufo (truffle) is in October here.

We also have one for mushrooms and chestnuts.

I wanted to showcase another face of autumn.

Folks gather in the main square and eat risotto with fresh porcini and polenta with sausages.

and drink vin brule (mulled wine) !

Thank you for the kind review!
