The mere name of a group of crows, inspire deep thought in my mind. They are utterly attired for the crime that they perceive. Very well put, with great imagery that stirs the imagination.

You have always liked that crow group name. This time the ominous crows are not implicated in any crime but they are keen observers and although are witnesses, they won't talk!

haha ... crows can talk, but not these ones, you are right 😊 I do like crows and ravens. I painted a paint of crows once but I gave it to Dean, he loved them too. I miss painting.

Thank you very much, Big Sister. I hope you are taking some time for yourself.

    love,

I love crows and their collective name. Your excellent verse and beautiful presentation capture the character of this remarkable bird with humour, personification and alliteration. Well done! Debbie

Excellent job Gypsy. It makes me wonder what the crime was :-)). Nice haiku with appropriate syllable count and grammatical interconnection between lines.

Murder of crows. I liked the poem a lot. Is a baby crow a potential murderer? Battalion of buzzards? Crash of hippos. Love where the names lead. There was a formatting thingy in the notes under the poem where I think you meant to say "don't"? Esther
