Quite intriguing! Appears we have someone who truly believes he's done the right thing...regardless if he ended up in prison. MUrdering his parents yet saving his sister... should be interesting to learn what was behind his thinking and how his sister has dealt with it. Great job!

You seem to have a slight problem with the time-line of your story. You detail events from 20 years previously, but then talk of Danielle's 18th birthday in relation to these events. You might want to adjust this inconsistency before you become too locked into the story. kay

Danielle first tried to talk to Harvey when she was eighteen, I included that here just so the reader's aware that she first tried to contact him then. Thank you.

Hi Jacob, this is quite the entry into this story. So he killed his parents but he saved his sister. This is the stuff of insanity, at least on the surface. Now, we may get to know more what's behind it all. Ulla:)))

This is excellent, Jacob! I love how this story is going. You've been very imaginative in its structure but I think it works. Because in the back of our minds we're thinking about his dear sister and all she's gone through. We still have that image of her desperation, cowering in the wardrobe and we need to know how she is and how she's going to respond to her brother. In this chapter we learn a lot about Harvey and, in particular, an OCD condition which may well be expanded upon later as a contributory factor in his offending. Already we know he is unbalanced although he's clearly in a prison and not sectioned. Looking forward to reading more. Well done! Debbie

I'll be interested in finding out what possessed him go make him kill his parents. Every crime should have a motive and he has waited a lont time to say what his was. Maybe he will tell his sister.

I thought this chapter was really good and I can't wait until you provide us with the remainder of the book. I will be patiently waiting to see what happens when Harvey's sister comes to visit him. I am wondering is she going to show up for a regular visit or his execution. At any rate great job and I will continue to look for the forthcoming chapters.
