Ciao sugarray !
Our daily fears can also weigh on us during our sleep causing us to have nightmares.
Those ghosts that haunt our dreams are simply our fears manifesting and transforming into scary figures. Our mind is a powerful ( at time scary) tool.
I found the theme interesting , cool artwork too.

I like your thoughts in this Tectractys poem, Melissa. As one that had very vivid dreams as a child I think I would say there are ghosts, but as an adult dreamer, I agree with the haunting shadows. Loved it,

Nice tectractys poem. I think you may be right. I have nightmares of being very far in the air on a bridge that the planks keep disapearing or on latter with the rungs breaking. I also dream of being nude in public. I'm sure those or connected to dark fear of falling and exposure.

You did a good job with that poetic style. I counted the syllables and they matched what you were attempting to do. I love the dark shadows on the wall in your artwork.
It doesn't say where you found it but it definitely adds to the essence of the poem.

They are and these shadows steal our rest at night when we let them. I recently had a procedure at the hospital that I feared and I had nightmares up until the event! Ha ha ha, glad it is now over! A fine post Melissa, love Dolly x x x
