I showed, It blowed, Time slowed.
I am having to hunt for stuff to read. You are not prolific like me. I had to force myself not to write today so I could catch up on my reviewing. With all my writing lately, and my moving in stuff, I am behind. I owe you three more! This was good, the picture was on the money. Karen

Taking the time to be as nice as you have been to me this day wows me. I lost my prolificity (?) to write as you say you do late last year. I find so few challenges to be interesting to me. You make my ego soar! Tom H

I'm not sure what was denied, maybe a job, who knows, but it was upsetting. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and want to wish you luck with the contest.

I was! The idea desired was to be a modern day Julius Caesar who came , saw and conquered, but alas, I went, tried and cried for being denied by the woman in the picture, as she walked away from my advance..

Hello Tom,
I'm so dense, I thought you were talking about an athlete who failed at the Olympics. It's probably a good thing if you were pursuing another woman that you failed. Thank goodness for our spouses staying by our sides to prevent unwanted consequences.
Blessings,
Tom

It's hard for me to imagine such a silver tonged devil having a gorgeous dame reject him and walk away. But then, when you said Paris, I understood perfectly. She didn't speak English, or pretended not to. :-) Thanks for sharing.

You have to know me to know how she let the man be what he was destined to be. She's a peach! Thank you.

That was both a sad and amusing entry in this 6 word contest. I've got a 6 word reply to it:
Ah, well,
what might
have been?
I guess it can't hurt to try (at least for very long.) But you never know if you'll succeed unless you try, so I applaud your efforts.

What I hear is the sound of one hand clapping, but... make it known I appreciate that attempt as well. :-)

At least you were brave enough to try. Some credit is due there. Next poem write about her loss. Lol. That would be funny. How she regrets that time she turned down a talented and charming man. I'd read it. Gretchen

To paraphrase: "Don't cry over sour milk"
It wasn't meant to be!
Maybe she looked like a dream...but your dream was waiting for you elsewhere wo you could marry her and be happy ever after!
(Or maybe as this is satire, you made it up--either way, good 6 words poetry entry...and it's way over my head how you get your photographs to look like paintings, but it's very impressive!)
Oh---looks like Evil Eddie substituted alien characters where you likely tried to copy and paste in your authors notes:
-Sigh.
Good luck!

Yes. Yes. Yes.
It was satirical.
My wife was beside me when I took the shot.
When I was playing photog I used PicMonkey to edit my faux pas.
Yours fondly.

You told a whole story in only 6 words and a title. An excellent entry for the 6 Word poetry contest. Good luck.

I thought it impossible to be make a story in six words
But with the explanation in the notes perhaps I did.

Ha! Crash and burn. Well l, they say that if you try ten times and one says yea....then it's a win!
Hope you had fun in Paris. Always wanted to go, but I fear French toast.

If you thought to go to enjoy their cuisine you missed nothing
Much was bland and worse sparrow size proportions
Thank you

Oh my. I want to enjoy their tower.
