I know a little about the Pacific Northwest because my firstborn son is a Reedie. I enjoyed reading the personal reflections you shared. Was there a reference to Mount Hood? Perhaps I missed it.

the Oregon dunes are spectacular. I am off today to see the Redwoods and the Oregon Caves on the way then back to Medford, where I am spending the summer renovating two duplexes we have owned for years
