This is definitely a funny one although, perhaps, it shouldn't be, given the topic. The image is hilarious and your 50 word story a delight to read. I'm not sure whether Bubba existed. I rather thought it was Alfred Nobel? And, given the humour of the image, I would have been inclined to make more of the 'remains' rather than have it end as a verb. For example: by removing one word you could say: ...into the yard where his remains were scattered. But this is an eye-catching one and a great contender. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Actually, this was posted early on the 13th, several hours before the attempted assassination of President Trump. And you're right, Alfred Nobel did invent dynamite; but 'Alfred Nobel' doesn't exude the same level of humor as 'Bubba from Alabama.' I thought of making remains a noun, but figured it wouldn't escape the reader as a verb, coupled with the artwork. I appreciate your review and good luck wish.

This story was so cute! And it's very cleverly written. I love the double meanings and clever wording. It's hard to tell a good story in so few words, but you did a great job. Well done!

This was such a fun story to read, you did a great job with the prompt and word limitations, there was a home that blew up near Albany last year. Very sad end for the elderly couple.
