Boy Howdee, this has gotten even better, if possible. I love love it. My brain is tired. I just wrote "The Elevator" for a contest. It is suitably snarky. I cracked myself up with this one. Send me good wishes please for my move on the 20th. I will be going to Houston to get my stuff out of storage 25+ years of memories. Half will be donated, You can't put a 3 bedroom house in a one bedroom apartment. It will be tough, but then it will be over. I can finish nesting and get on building my new life. I will be happy here. My sister's seem to adore me. What good taste they have! :-) Karen

I will be glad when all of the moving part is done. Then it is nesting and organizing and giving away more stuff.!

Sorry for taking the time to get round to reading this one, Barbara. I really enjoyed your latest chapter and I thought your dialogue was excellent as always. I really enjoyed reading it.

Okay! I think this is about to get intense. Looks like we are hitting the 'meat and potatoes' with a plan formulating.

I like the new character. He seems like a likable fellow. Wish I could give a 7! Ha!

Mateo is likeable, but Noah will have to come to that conclusion. He sees him as a threat to his relationship with Sami. Thank you dropping and leaving this kind review. No PLEASE get to work and save Greg, Jenny, and yes, Jesse too. Jenny will be heartbroken if anything happens to her brother.

This is going to be a major shift in the dynamic of the book. I'll be interested to see Noah's reaction. It looks as though things are about to hot up after all this time in protective custody.
The dialogue, as usual, is strong, but I wondered if the constant repetition of 'Mi Amor' might be slightly overdone.
A good chapter that keeps your readers hooked.

I have wondered that, but I Mateo has told me that's how he thinks, the good part is they won't be together often enough to hear it again. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I truly enjoyed that. It felt as if I was in the room listening and observing along with the rest of the crowd. Thank you for sharing. Truly a nice read to me.

"God's gift to women" portrays Mateo as just another self-serving egomaniac.

Some questions this chapter proposes are which side is Mateo really on, Sami's? Perhaps Chen's? And, how is Noah going to react to Mateo's coming on to Sami?

Hello Barbara,
Oh boy, I can see some jealousy issues brewing. It would be so hard to find yourself in a situation like that. I hope Noah can continue to keep his professional stance and not be too influenced by the actions of Mateo. Well done gal. Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

You have set us up for some exciting posts to come, Barb. It will be interesting to see how Noah and Mateo get along. I'm sure there will be some drama.
