An excellent entry for the Childhood writing prompt. I loved this poem. It took me back to my own youth where my favorite thing was to create special scenarios in the wood behind my house. to this day, the woods is my favotie place to be if i get a chance. I recently moved from Florida to Maine and the one thing I required when choosing a house was that it backed onto a woods of some sort. thanks for sharing.
