Hi Gypsy, your letter to our heavenly Father is heartfelt. I can feel your love, appreciation, and devotion to our Lord. Your writing is real, and this is a letter that many people can/will relate to. The road home can be long and winding. Of special note:
I appreciate the chances you give me each day to make amendments to my children for all the times I was too deep in my bipolar disease to realize the way my actions affected them.
(With the care that you give your grandchildren, you are doing God's work. You are needed, valued, loved, and appreciated.)

I loved this, MariVal. And it is such a comfort to know that He adopted us. In Psalm 27:10 it says, "Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." You and I both had trouble with our fathers but we know God is our Heavenly Father and He will never leave us nor forsake us and loves us better than any human can.
I especially liked "I can't undo the past but thanks to you, every second is a new beginning. " Best wishes in the contest!

Nobody loves us more than God and He is always there to help us make good choices. I enjoyed reading this contest entry. I'm pretty sure most of us could have written parts of that letter. Good luck with the contest.
