What is the living stone in your scripture ? Trying to figure out how it relates to the poem. I am less than a novice with the Bible
I really like the first stanza and this one
"What will I tell my black dress?
Hung and unworn she remains
Nowhere to dance she's lifeless"
Overall it flowed well. That poor little black dress. Waiting for the right boy to ask her out to a dance

I feel the pain and desperation behind this. Rejection is never fun and a lot of times it's downright heartbreaking.
