I haven't heard about the John Birch Society since I was a teen in Indiana. I don't know if they are still active or not, but I do remember mention of them. Thanks for the update,

I agree! It all seems a bit bizarre and OCD this perpetual obsession with communism at though it were a very present danger when, as you point out in your notes, it has died out long ago. The only people who are keeping it alive are the ones advocating against it. An upside down world indeed! Nicely covered in your verse and notes. Well done and good luck! Debbie
