This poem is a beautiful ode to nature, written with vivid imagery and a deep sense of reverence for the elements. It captures the speaker's longing for inspiration and connection with the natural world, personifying the sun, breeze, clouds, and rain as intimate companions in your journey. Thanks for sharing.

Your daughter, Morgan had a beautiful idea. And you followed her lead, and we get the special treat in getting to read this beautiful love letter to nature. Thank Morgan for us, please. I loved reading this poem.

This is precious! I can understand why. I love nature too and find it to be the dearest friend. I don't get enough of my friend though. Each season holds its own unique beauty and color palette. Wonderfully written and illustrated love letter to your other love. ;))
Sending you my best today as always and extra special nest day birthday wishes!

What a great story about the inspiration for this poem. And what if it is a little over the top in its praise? That's what love letters do. This was reminiscent of a love letter I wrote to Golf when I decided I'd played my last round. What a great way to express your love for something that means so much to you. May you continue to have those wonderful walks in and with those whom you love, Jess.

Wow, Jess, this really is a passionate (tongue in cheek!) embracing of nature! I think, at the very least, it should have carried a warning!:) My favourite stanza is the second one with your senses being tickled (a nice touch of characteristic humour). In short a great personification of nature, infused with faith, and auguring well for future married years together! Your husband might be jealous! Take care Debbie xo

You're on the home stretch for your Napowrimo book, Jessica. This like all the others are superbly done. I loved your enthusiastic love of nature. Great job conjuring up sounds, smells, and sensations! My favorite lines were:
"Dry your weeping silver
as it twinkles on the branches,
in the faintest graze of Sunlight
peeking out behind your quilt of clouds."

This is a passionate expression of your love for nature and I hope your husband is not jealous. I'm sure your daughter is proud of this poem, she should be. Excellent work and telling us of the beauty and our privilege to appreciate what God is created.

I thought your poem beautifully captured the deep connection between the poet and nature. I love how you used the Sun as a source of inspiration. The imagery is terrific. I thought your poem was a tribute to the power and majesty of nature. And, yes, a gift to the poet! Great job!

I can see how passionate you are about nature, I guess I'm more passionate about its creator, the one that fashioned these wonderfully perfect environments hundreds of them that blend a fit perfectly within themselves, with man ruining them with his importations, this is a great post Jessica.
