Thank you for sharing this presentation with us. It's beautiful as we've come to expect with your poetry. I can't imagine you ever posting something just plain. You always dazzle us.

I love this poem, very classic and poetic. The words line up in an increasing pattern, creating very pleasing visual effect. I suggest this beautiful poem is not to be called a busso, I am not sure though, as I have hard time to count 5/7/5/7/7/7.

this was a cool busso
and i like the pyramid effect...
question- so the syllable counts aren't written in stone? (3-6-5-8-8)
as long as it's 38 syllables or less?
anyway, good flow of words and imagery
maybe have one of the lines in a light blue to match that cool blue flower in the bottom pic? lol just a thought ;)
thank you for sharing'

Gogyohka was a form developed by Enta Kusakabe in Japan and translates literally to "five-line poem." An off-shoot of the tanka form, the gogyohka has very simple rules: The poem is comprised of five lines with one phrase per line. That's it.
.I appreciate your excellent review and helpful feedback. (*÷*) may you have a wonderful day.

You are right, I wrote rules of busso in my author notes by mistake but the poem is Gogyohka. A reviewer told me. I guess I had busso in my mind too.

Excellent, though I am so happy that I did not have to travel that far to find my love, seduction is hard to avoid, though we must, very well written and presented****kahpot

Your poem shows an enthusiastic and loyal love that goes beyond this world. Hopefully, the one that is so loved with that much dedication, will reciprocate such a love!

Ihank you very much, big sister, it's interesting the way different people grieve. When my mother died I did lay in my mother's side of the bed and held on to her illow and clothes.
Love,

This was a beautiful Bussokusekika, Gypsy. The dual picture were of great value since they spoke a fantastic dual. Your words were wonderful because they addressed the fact that you spoke the truth of searching the universe. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

This was a poem that made me think of lost love. Searching for that one soul who you connected with. It was as if two worlds were moving close in orbit but still far enough away to miss. Gretchen

A very insightful review, Gretchen. Some loves are not meant to happen. Tanka is about passion, lovers, or love lost. It's my favorite kind of poem. I've read Tanka written by Japanese women poets from 100 years ago that write about the same I write about. It's amazing to me. I guess women across time and cultures share a lot.
Thank you very much. I appreciate that you took the time to read and review my poem.
