I still remember that Christmas my sister give me a copy of "Tom Sawyer'. She also took me to the Broadway play "Mark Twain Tonight" with Hal Holbrook. That name has held a special significance for me ever since. Thank you for this memorial to him in twenty small syllables!

I too read his classics and saw clips of Holbrook. I also read the story about Twain touring on a world tour to pay off his debts. Apparently, he was a better writer/humorist than a business investor.

I think anyone who has read Mark Twain's classic will enjoy this poem. My favorite chapters are those describing Huck and Jim's adventures on the raft floating down the Mississippi. Rod

I too liked their stories. I also read the book about Twain?s around the world tour to pay off his debts.
