Thank you for the understanding and kind review.

That's cute that Seth rescued Emma from a scary movie. I guess it shows how protective Seth is over Emma as their love is budding. Good strategy because the reader already is on edge because of the strange driver spying on Emma.

I think it's the creepy music that stands my hair on end, so I don't do creepy either. Emma's Innocence is so obvious, she doesn't seem as old as she is. Seth is apparently a sucker for innocence, so they are evenly matched. Relationships that grow slowly are best. Good story.

I like slow relationships. Emma has always been protected so is very innocent. Thank you for the kind review.

Another excellent chapter. It seems everyone is guessing that there is a relationship starting, but Seth and Emma are not sure of it yet. The white knight coming to the rescue was a nice touch and I like that they watched the movie from the first. I get the scary moving thing. I can't remember the last time I watched one.

A good image for your chapter, barbara. Your notes are appreciated. I don't do the scary kinds of reading or watching those kinds of movies. I couldn't review Dean's horror writing, but I did tell him and reviewed other things he wrote.
You did a good job showing how Emma is feeling. I'm not sure why she wanted to watch a scary movie, but it worked out as far as the budding relationship between her and Seth. It ended up being a nice evening for them, sharing some alone time. I like how Seth made arrangements for Ace to stay and provide companionship for Molly. What ever the person with the Crown Victoria wants, he is certainly persistent and creepy.
Well done.

The Crown Vic guy is not good. Emma watched the movie on a recommendation. I doubt she knew how scary. Thank you for the kind review. I once watched movie on a recommendation, and it scared me for weeks. I think the name was 'Seven'. It was about the seven deadly sins. I DO NOT recommend it.

You are welcome for the review and thanks for sharing in your reply. In 7th or 8th grade, there was a sleep over at a friend's house, and we watched "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane." There was one part in the movie and my friend said she would have done that, too. I've never watched another horror movie or read a book in that genre since. I even told Dean I couldn't review his horror writing unless it was very mild.

Should "What she doing?" Be What is she doing?
Seth did indeed make a complete fool of himself pretty much busting into Emma's house with a rather large pistol in his hand.
The Crown Victoria at the end could be more scarier than the movie.
Seems Seth is one very over-reacting character.

I think when it comes to Emma, Seth very protective and is worried about the stalker who Emma knows nothing about. He was protective of his younger sister; more will come out later. Thank you for the kind review.

Definitely things are warming up between Seth and Emma and I enjoyed the pace of this prose. The scream was concerning and reveals just how on edge and defensive Seth is, not least with the sight of the Crown Victoria outside. Congrats on your May rating so far. Best wishes, Debbie

I enjoyed this small excerpt from what I am assuming will be a novel. Your characters are engaging and I could relate to them. The humor is a nice touch with him "saving her" from a horror movie. I look forward to reading your novel when it is completed.

This chapter is great! The flow of character development is wonderful and the dialogue is genuine. I had to laugh when he raced over with his gun out, although I did suspect she was watching a movie.
I'm enjoying your book.

She said earlier she was watching a movie and relaxing. Probably not a good choice of movie, for Emma. Seth is worried about the stalker, only Emma's not aware of it. Thank you for the kind review.
