This piece contains a narrative of a wonderful
experience that happened to the author. He was "down in the dumps" emotionally, feeling that life wasn't what he thought it would be and "what was to come next?" Would it be more of what had become his lot in life? Was this "The Big Picture?" If it was then nothing he envisaged held any kind of hope, or pleasure,Then, suddenly, a Bottlenosed Dolphin leapt out of the waves and splashed back again accompanied by some of his joyful, marine companions. To his delight the dolphins performed an impromptu dance through the ocean, ending when the man watching had changed his outlook completely, He now looked upon Nature with a different Point of View. He makes clear his changed outlook in verse 9
where he speaks of "the blessing of nature" and to use Nature's proximity to combat "melancholy" There is a little "nest" of Spags in verse 4 with an apostrophe needed for "ocean's king. In the next line Posiedon's throne is the correction needed there. Also Posiedon and Neptune are one and the same. Neptune is Roman. Posiedon is Greek. Do you want to mention him in both incarnations? Your call on this, great poem, wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing. cheers Cass

CassCarlton: Thanks for such a heart warming review. My message has come through and that's my reward. The poem came from my personal sufferings and reviving from it. Nature has healing ways to recharge and that's what I experienced. I will make corrections and using two names of same god, was intentional to make it inclusive of all cultures that (I thought), would appreciate this poem. My best regards,
