I read little poetry other than from those who sprinkle it like Dipping Dots throughout and in-between prose posts. But every great once in awhile someone catches my scattered attention with a line, which you did months ago with a couple poems, and a review. Then poof, you were gone. A magical feat of movieland, I guess. Then, on a friend's profile there was that catchy name again--so, here I am, a blip in time--witnessing your resurrection. LOL. Thanks for sharing another fine poem!

Glad you're back, Diana! Your cinquain is packed with meaning. One way to read it is that life often gives us struggles and it's hard to figure out the signs but there is a "glimpse of redemption" which gives us the courage to keep on being ourselves in life. Best wishes in the contest!
