Spot on. You got nothing wrong. For one to arrive another must die and the circle of life continues on even in plant life, year after year, doesn't it.
Have a grand Easter.

Dear Mystery Writer,
Wow. That opening stanza was AMAZING! The way you described each part of the new growth of spring was nothing less than astounding - and breathtaking. Using rich, profound, artistic language that brought the scene to life in 3D.
Unfortunately, for me, the second stanza fell a little flat -- but I think it was in comparison to the first. It's still really good - but it would be hard to match that first one. If you could find more of that imagistic language -- this piece would definitely soar to the top. How could it not?
It's a piece of art. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the read and the feedback. I will take another look at the second stanza and try to match your suggestion.
New second stanza:
Turning vibrant blossoms to fresh green
Restored vitality, scenting buoyant breezes
Every tree bursting with vigorous new life
Each one donning spring-festive dress
Spring to me is the superlative of seasons
-
Truly beautiful - but when you look at the startling personification below, it's hard to compare:
Dip from the weight of new life
--> wow! We SEE the WEIGHT of the new buds!
Dappling buds popping their heads
--> we SEE those buds POPPING their heads
Intensifying soon to white and cherry pink blossoms
--> INTENSIFYING brings it to life
Necklaces of blooms hang from every branch
--> necklaces of blooms? are you serious? Absolutely - I can see it all!
In the new stanza - your words are lovely. But compared to the first stanza they are the same pictures everyone else uses -- sorry. The first stanza BREATHES spring. The second one says it -- quietly.

Love the phrase " necklaces of blooms" but the entire acrostic is well written. Spring is such a wonderful time of year as new life is born after the cold dormancy of winter.
Wishing you good luck in the voting booth

Your spring acrostic entry is delightful and vividly descriptive. It enthusiastically celebrates the wonderful changes in nature engendered by the season.
