Well, that was a shock! So much is happening at the moment, and still more twists and turns coming! You really do have an active mind, my friend. This one had me on the edge of my chair, especially when Max got into the back of Sam's car and stuck a gun in her neck. At least Sam managed to contact Marion, but she isn't leaving! Your story is very exciting and you keep adding more characters. It is interesting that the Sheriff's brother is now in the story and it appears he isn't like his brother, Parul. A lot of the people in this story have known each other from when they were teens. I'm anxious for more.

My goodness! The plot thickens still further! Allie on her own facing the media, the appearance of Max, with an initial feeling that he is a bad guy (what a way to introduce himself!) but maybe after all he will help her , Marian unwilling to leave, but playing a dangerous game herself...! I love the addition and explanation of who Max is. Earlier, Marian mentioned her team. We don't know who is on her team, and we don't know how she and Max are related. Max has to be careful. His father disowned Paul and we aren't clear yet on how Max and Paul are together. As for Allie, she plays tough to get "her story" but then regrets her temper too. Hope she doesn't put everyone on the team at risk.
