Soon the time will arrive for payment to be made
It will occur although the date has been delayed.
Yes, it rhymes, but I can't see anything the Lord does to be delayed. Would not it happen when He was ready? There are few more questions but you get what I mean.

The delay is to give as many a chance to be saved as possible. He could have ended things at any time, only his mercy has allowed things to continue as is. The debt that his son's murders have incurred is payback for the deed.

Knowing Christ is an ever increasing growth in the knowledge of him, the cross is merely the beginning, but when people say they are a "good" person, they have no idea of the value placed on the cross, and the wickedness and rebellion, the road is not an easy one, but Jesus is the only path to salvation. I dislike people who say they are Christians but hate each other. It's very sad. They are hypocrites.
The rhymes do not seem forced. Your poem flows well. It draws on emotions and it presents strong images.

Prudent and righteous observation. False Christians are disseminating hate and bias in His name. This is a hundred fold worse, in my mind, to those who do not believe, or who believe differently. To sin in Jesus name is evil!

We should be encouraged to always tell the truth. God is truth. Or Truth is God.Telling the truth is always a better way to live!
