I'm so glad that Johnny is okay. Very lucky that you found an outdated epi-pen and that the ambulance got there quickly. I'm sure this was more than a little scary! Praise the Lord that he is okay.

Thank goodness your son is alright! My daughter in law is allergic to bees and we had a similar frantic situation when she was stung multiple times three summers ago. Her husband, my son--somehow managed to inject HIMSELF in his thumb while attempting to inject his wife with the Epi-pen!
(Something the EMT's found hysterical once everyone was stabilized by the way.)
Oh, you're behind? Well welcome to my world! Thank goodness everybody here has been in the same situation for one reason or another and we're all really really patient.
Glad he's home! Take a breath...

You never tell me how you are really doing...Is things progressing in a timely manner? I really do worry about you.
John is doing fine. He loved the ambulance ride and really didn't get too worried once he was at the hospital. He's a tough cookie like his mom. LOL

Dear Carol,
May God richly bless you and give you strength and peace. Blood pressure of 276/198 would have sent me over the moon. I'm glad Johnny is home and recuperating. Wanting to eat is a good sign. May God continue to hold you and your family in His loving arms. Hugs to you.

What a terrifying time you had to face! There is no doubt that we are currently living in uncertainty. One moment you are ecstatic and the next an unexpected health problem befalls you. With all of the uncertainty, it is not hard to see where God and his plan fits in. he helps through others. He hears your prayers and sends help through others. A very touching story. Glad that your son is doing well. I am sure he will be up and about in a day or two. Blessings!

Thank you, Seshadri
Yes, John is doing fine and loved the ambulance ride. LOL, We have restocked the medicine cabinet with EpiPens and meds, so we are prepared should it happen again. Thanks so much.

I hesitate to add one more review to your inbox, but I'm glad your son is doing better. God's hand was on him and you all the way. No need to respond. Prayers for strength and Johnny's continued healing. Carol

Oh Carol!! So glad you wee able to save your son! What an emergency! The Lord was with you however, and answered what i am sure were many "lightning prayers". I hope he has a swift recovery.
And how wonderful for you to have 108 reviews!! That is also amazing! (I am always glad if I get 8!! LOL!) But it sounds like you will be very busy for a little while .... Blessings.

I just started this morning to answer...138 reviews and 32 messages. Usually I have about 15. Not complaining but my work is cut out for me today. LOL

I am glad this had a good ending, when you live a distance from the nearest place you have to go for help every minute counts and it pays to keep a level head if you can. Sometimes it seems like nothing can go right.
I like the story, the font and the punctuation marks.

My goodness - you must have angels working overtime at your place, dear Carol! Thanks for sharing and thanking God that Johnny's okay. What a scare. I would think he needs to have a beekeeper's suit on at all times when he's outdoors!
Question:
I didn't know what "toning" was in this sentence: "and both were toning out;"

What a scary experience you and your family went through. I am glad that you were able to get help as quickly as you did and that your son is OK. Allergies to bee stings are scary. Thankfully, you were able to get him to the hospital in time for them to treat him.
