Hi Harry,
I like your poem because it whisks me through a cold winter, and into spring.
"April breeze, sky bright blue"
I like the alliteration of "flowers flouncing/grass gleaming", and also in your title, "Spring Stirring",
and the hint of love, "male doves croon a hopeful coo"
I have a couple of minor suggestions, just for a smoother read, see what you think...
"grass gleaming with morning dew
male doves croon a hopeful coo"
(grasses gleam with morning dew
male dove croons a hopeful coo)
I hope this helps.
Good Luck in the voting!
Cheers,
Kimbob

A beautiful picture of the best of Spring yet to come - full of color and sweet sounds of 'doves croon'- so much to look forward to as winter begins to take a back seat soon!

You are thinking ahead to Spring just like me, Harry. Who doesn't wish for balmy April days and flouncing flowers, green grass and cooing doves? Rod
