Another well paced poem. It gave me a sense of reaching for something spiritual... something to be desired. If I don't keep my eyes on the ball, it can dissappear. That's how I felt reading this poem. Thank you for the enjoyable poem.

Okiboy, I have only just started to write and when I hear someone like you say you've felt something by reading it....well, I'm out of words. I've shared things and time and ideas, etc. throughout my life; as a mother, wife, sister, friend. Yet, I didn't know until recently how wonderful it is to share art and poetry. Jamar, I also want to walk down that lovely country road. When I was a young lass and visited my relatives down in Tennesee, they lives on a dirt road like this. I would walk it and, even as a child, I totally 'felt' the calm of it all. So, thank you for commenting on that image. And I thank you for your most generous review and lovely, encouraging comments. I think you do have a nice poem here, but some of your imagery is muddled. How do you stumble upon nectar?
How do you sip from fields? (Suggestion: How about "vines?") The third and fourth stanza are better images than the first two.
