the picture in itself holds deep love and affection, falling into your words truly God's gift to us man's best friend always a blessing reading something that lights above the stars

This is a very clever way to match the syllable requirement of the contest. The image worked perfectly with the theme. I enjoyed this piece and thank you for sharing. Blessings. ~Brenda.

Love the picture. I've never seen a picture where Jesus is holding a pup. He's gentle with whatever He holds. Great words that flows well with your image.

In my opinion, a lyrically sweet poem in this charming write and warm image, for a lovely presentation - perfectly compliant with the prompt. Best wishes in the contest...

Hi Eve, can I ask you what was wrong with the poem...sense you 4 stared it...I am so glad you like the presentation...and thank you for your best wishes...
-
There's nothing wrong with the poem - I provided my honest opinion of the work, which I am entitled to do...Eve
-
Perhaps I can be more clear - I found the write neither inferior nor superior - I hope that helps...Eve
-
I only asked about the 4 stars because your review sounded like you truly liked the poem...I have hit the 4 stars myself after giving a good review not meaning to...I understand now...thank you...

A very good read. It has a nice pace.
The short poem says a lot with only
a few word, but are so loving and sincere.
Keep up the good work and good luck.
Thank you!

It's almost like God took a dog, and named it backwards and gave this priceless gift to man, revealing the nature of servanthood and the very persona of God himself, perhaps a little less idealistic than that, but, you know, "there are lots of yucky things to roll in" Well done, great write, blessings, Roy

You have made excellent use of all syllables in this moving, uplifting
5-7-5. I wonder how many people think to thank God for their beloved pets when they pray.

I love the picture, love the poem that goes with it. Yes, dogs were created to be loyal and pure. They only turn mean when trained to be that way. At least in general, that seems to be true. Good luck with the contest.
