I do hope Peggy is finally out of the picture for good.
She really is a very vicious and destructive person.
Left to themselves maybe Steve and Leya will finally be able to sort things out and get their marriage on an even keel.

That was a really good chapter, you don't always need action. Plenty of questions were answered and the dialogue carried the story through. Their relationship is bonding nicely which is quite satisfying after all the 'will they, won't they' build up.

To barbara.wilkey,
A striking and yet bizarre turn of events between Leya and
Peggy.A fanatic Peggy may be but I'm sure she has more tricks up her sleeves.
It is really up to see if Steven is strong enough to stay grounded and stay the course with Leya.
One typo:
A smile[d] crossed Peggy's lips.

I'm glad they got rid of Peggy, and Leya didn't get mad about the straws, and I'm glad Leya and Steven are working things out. They belong together. This was another good chapter.

This is a very good chapter and shows progress between the two to mend the fences. It has very good imagery and descriptive scheme. Good luck in your successful continuation of this story.

Besides, make ups are fantastic - add comma
I like that Leya is making Steven squirm just a little - and that Peggy, she sure is insufferable to the bitter end. Plenty of action on the horizon - oh boy, I'm fastening my seat belt. In the meantime, it was nice to see them admitting their love. Brooke :-)

I added that pesky little comma. I hate those things, but I guess they are a necessary evil. Thank you for your review and continued support.

Well done, Barbara. The chapter has an artful written dialogue and well flowing narrative.
Your story continues to entertain me.
