Really beautiful poem - it rings of fun and carefree and I really enjoyed it. We are on the verge of autumn here, unfortunately :( Makes me look forward to september.

HA HA! We'll be just fine friend, winter here is NOTHING like winter State side that's for sure. The TILT seems to favour us southern hemisphere dwellers, but we do have the hole to contend with don't we.

Yes, this North American weather can be (and is) brutal at times. Up here by the Great Lakes, it's exceptionally rough. This past winter was very severe. When I was on Lake Taupo fishing, it was in June. Was cold, but not bad. Stayed out half the day. Lucky you!! Thanks for your great review. Always, Sue

    Huka Lodge. Loved it!!

Not the Lodge!! WoW you do know how to spoil yourself don't you, people like Prince Charles, Rocking Rod, Sheiks and now Suc, My wife used to work in the kitchens there when she was fresh out of school. Very nice!!

Can be uprated if you have a rethink on Verse 3, Line 2. It is somewhat "stumbly". I am not saying you should use the following, but something in the same beat:

"I'm waiting now to see what it will bring".

Reg

I've been BUSTED!!! LOL! I kept re-reading that line myself and wasn't totally satisfied. And here it takes your 4 stars to keep me from being complacent! Good for you! I'll re-visit that and make it right. Thanks so much for your honesty and help. (Damnit - hyena again)... Sue :-))

Your line is great! I changed my mind on the word "what", though and went with "all". Thanks so much! It's so much better. With regards, Sue

OK, the hyena is feeling generous. Check your rating again.

I LOVE hyenas! HA! Thank you so much for your help on this and not letting me "get away" with it. And thank you for the great line that really works. Your upgraded rating is most appreciated! **big smiles** Sue

Very well done, Sue. The rythm was great. I read it aloud and it flowed very nicely. The rhyme was perfect. I found no errors needing correction. It was a great reminder that spring WILL come LOL even if it doesn't seem like it right now. Cheryl :)

Well, I had a couple of windows open today! YAY!!! Fresh air! I did a lot of bitching this winter. It was so severe. Seemed like I was closed in the house for almost a month. When the daffodils appear, then it's truly spring! Thanks for your great compliments and review. With kindest regards, Sue
