Most lives, we start with nothing, build up to a higher level before we fall bach to not having anything. Very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

'Our Common Thread' is an intriguing piece. This talented poet has with a minimum of words, deftly described life's certainties. It was a pleasure to read and review a work of this caliber.

Wow Sue! Your even doing mathematical poems now!! I love this. Your chosen words are beautiful and the little bit of rhyme helps bond them together. It's an interesting form and you've presented it really well. Great job.
Warm regards.

This is true but there's something sad and sorry about this one as well. You hit the nail on the head and I don't know if I ever would have thought of it, but we do search and search, chasing with that initial cry lodged in our throats, wanting ... waiting ... until we die. How many of us feel fulfilled at that moment I wonder. Good

The complexities of human needs are astounding. Some are very fortunate to feel that moment of fulfillment at the end. Would be icing on the cake. Thanks for your review, Jude. Sue

Hi, Sue
After tryin to work out the Fabo technique and subsequent migrane, I' took a bottle of aspirin and am now fine! ;-).
Excellent and appropriate cry and die rhyme.
Also 'yearning' and 'fulfillment' are very fruatrating human desires. I 'yearn' to be 'fulfilled' BY STOPPING ''yearning' for 'fulfillment' resulting in contented bliss. Hang on, workin that one out has brought my migraine back. LMAO
Very succinct (? right word) for 'short, sweet and to the point), thoughtful profundity. Excellent creativity which I hope 'fulfilled' you for a day ;-). Love, Ray xx

Yeah, mathematics can cause one to O.D.! HA! We humans are never fulfilled! Each moment, we're scrounging! LOL!! Pitiful, aren't we. Thanks for your awesome review! That makes me 1/3 fulfilled. :-)) Sue

Very good job sticking to the rules of the style. I like this poem; it's simple, yet powerful. I really like your painting. It has an African Art feel to it. This may seem a little strange, but I'll tell you what it looks like to me. I think it looks like an old woman sitting cross legged with a child in her lap. That's just my thought. It is a nice piece of work.

The beauty of art is how each of us view it differently. Thanks for your great review. Glad you enjoyed this piece. With regards, Sue

You are quite a cultured one aren't you Sue! You obviously LOVE your art friend because you always produce some stunning work when it comes to incorporating it into one of your poems. Fibonacci, rolls off the tongue, was he in the Sopranos? Joking!! ha ha. I'm not cultured, excellent work friend and you know it!

Yeah, he was the dude who put the hit out on Fettucini. Ha! So glad you like the artwork I pick, cuz I go through SO much drama to find just what I want. I sometimes appear "cultured", but really am extremely tacky. LOL!! Sue

Ha ha! do we have a trickle of humor sneaking back there Sue, keep it coming!

How do you know all of this stuff?? That is really interesting, even though I don't like maths. It's a lovely poem, with an unusual (to me) rhythm. I like the theme too. Well done. :)
