"The Beatitudes" is an outstanding spiritual poem. This one stands out in prose, rhythm and rhyming as being so perfect and the message even better. Well done!

Your meter is perfect in all except the 'these things He would bestow' line, but if you know me at all, you know I'm not one for conformity :)
This is excellent, I LOVE your subject, even though I'm a bit of a back slider these days...if fire insurance counts, then I'm still ok, ha! The Sermon on the Mount is among the greatest hits for me, and your rhythmic/rhymed account is stellar. Should be a strong contender, Sue. :)
