Hurray, April 30. You made it. Congratulations. What a great way to end this month than with a poem of gratitude for all of the people who touched your life, parents, siblings, even in-laws:

And to my in-law family
They've given me much more
I get along with every one
And love them that's for sure.

But you save the best for last:

Yet best of all I save to last
Without them wouldn't be
My darling husband; he's my rock
My great kids, there are three.
I treasure all the memories

You end your poem of gratitude with advice for us all:

So take the time to tell them all
How much they mean to you
Before too late and you have gone
For this you can't undo.

I found only one error: (You) lift me up if I am down

Hi Christine. I'm glad you still have your mom at 83. Your poem includes all of those close to you and that is a wonderful tribute to them. Our family, extended family and friends make life complete. I'm glad you posted for the NaPoWriMo and this one as your last. Good job. Marilyn
