Hi Jay,
A superb chapter here.
My heart galloped into my palm and fingers - so simple, yet so effective.
Excellent description at Axtilla's introduction.
The end scenes are so well and tenderly written.
Excellent stuff

We'll see how tenderly when the springs start dancin'. LOL, thanks, G, for the six stars. I didn't want to end it right there, but if I went any further into "possible" love making I might not know when to stop it. Again, thanks.

This is playing out as a game between to lovers trying to increase the need for each other. Your post is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

That was timing Jay, I was outta sixes, but it's after midnight back east, so I got one for ya.
You left off at the high point of curiosity. I'm wondering if Pondria is overconfident.
I love the way the story is always busy. The nap he so desperately wanted eluded him for the day. The anxiety he felt all day appears to be matched by Axtilla, but I can't help but feel you have a surprise still. I know that the ceiling over the bed has those ornately carved animal figures that Pondria used to see when the room was still dark.
Something is going to happen. Not what you have us believing at the moment.

Hey, Jimmy. Or maybe I just don't know how to write a love scene. I keep stalling. I wish I could have something as tender as Pongo's sheltering his dead wife from the gun shots. That's writing, friend. Thanks for the six stars.
